| Maplewood Makos Registration and Tryouts | | Date: | June 3rd, 2012 | | Time: | 10:00am | | Information: | If you are interested in trying-out for the Maplewood Makos swim team, please note that the location has changed to the Columbia High School Pool. Details for evaluations are as follows:
New swimmers must complete a swimming evaluation before registration to ensure preparedness for the season. Evaluations will take place at the Columbia High School Pool on June 2nd from 10am-12pm and June 3rd from 10am-12pm. Swimmers will be taken first come first serve and asked to complete task of his or her age group:
Age Group: Task
8 and under: two laps of freestyle and one lap of any other competitive stroke
9 and 10: dive, two laps of freestyle and one lap of two other competitive strokes
11 and 12: dive, three laps of freestyle and two laps of two other competitive strokes
13 and up: dive, 100 yd. freestyle and 100 yd. individual medley
Just a reminder that if your swimmer will be returning to the MAKOS this summer, they need to get their registration form and payment (checks made payable to �Maplewood Swim Team�) mailed to Coach Carly. If you were on the team last summer, you do NOT need to attend the evaluations, but your form must be received by Carly NO LATER than June 15th in order to hold your spot:
